The Importance of Developing Trust in Every Relationship

In a relationship which involves one ensuring the well-being of the other, the most important aspect that has to be developed is trust. This does not only pertain to trust coming from the individual who needs the care but also from the caregiver. This mutuality will ensure a more secure environment for both parties.

Such is the case of parenting. It is extremely vital for parents to be present, not just physically, but consciously for their children. This presence does not mean that you have to get in their way all the time and prohibit them from experimenting and experiencing new things. It only means that you allow them to feel secure because you are there guiding them.
