Helping Senior Citizens Make It Through Winter
Winter safety inside and outside the house should be thoroughly observed by everyone, young and old. Senior citizens, however, in comparison with younger adults, tend to be more vulnerable to the insufferable consequences of extreme cold.
To keep yourself or an elderly loved one safe during the chilliest days of winter, check out the following:
- Whether you’re driving on the road or walking along the sidewalks, see to it that the ground is safe for either.
- Wrap yourself up in warm clothing and blankets to protect you from hypothermia.
- Have your space heater checked annually.
