At Back Home Safely, we recently helped a client make their bathroom safer and more accessible by installing grab bars in their shower. We placed a vertical grab bar at the tub entrance to provide secure support while stepping in and out, reducing the risk of slips and falls. Additionally, we installed another grab bar along the back wall of the tub for extra stability while bathing or showering. These simple modifications make a big difference in promoting independence and safety at home, especially for individuals with limited mobility or balance concerns.
