Falling victim to various financial schemes is continually becoming a common occurrence of senior citizens. Here are some tips to make sure you never fall into one:

Don’t trust mails stating that you won the sweepstakes or lottery especially when you are being asked to wire money to someone you don’t know.
Never pass personal information to callers over the phone who claim to be medicare representatives or from any other organization.
Avoid subscribing to door-to-door services, especially from people who do not have sufficient proof of credentials.
