Boynton Senior Citizens Demand More Efficient Security Measures
Senior citizens in Boynton express their concern about recurring burglaries in the clubhouses and residences in the area. Citizens on Patrol program (COP), headed by 83-year-old Jan Garside, has taken the initiative of reporting the incidents to the police and hopes to further aid them in combating crimes.
Members of the said community also requested for the establishment of more intense security measures such as installing fences and speed bumps. However, certain authorities aren’t completely keen to abide to the people’s request due to some negative outcomes that the actions may cause.
