Home Safety Tips While You Are on Vacation
Are you planning your next family vacation this summer? The Gloucester Township Police Department is offering some home safety tips for people who will be gone for a summer vacation.
– Don’t broadcast your vacation plans on the Internet.
– Set up timers on lights inside your home to make it appear as if someone is home.
– Ask your friendly neighbor to keep an eye on your home.
– Provide your neighbor with your contact numbers in case of emergency.
– Check all your windows and doors to make sure they are locked.
