Thief Preying on Elderly Citizens

In Turlock, Ceres and Modesto the authorities were alerted about a female wallet thief who preys on elderly citizens. She has been responsible for a series of thefts. Photos of the modus was posted in a social media network and one of her victims was able to recognized her:

Senior citizen Wauneta Hatfield lost her purse after she went shopping at Michael’s store on Laguna Boulevard in Elk Grove. It was later that she remembered an encounter with the said woman who was trying to separate her from her shopping basket which contained her purse.
