Considering the option of sending your elderly parent or any senior citizen loved one to a nursing home or assisted living facility is a difficult notion. While you may have your own personal set of concerns, such as your time and your ability to provide all the care that the senior needs, it is also important to put into account your loved one’s take on the idea of moving.
Moving to a nursing home can trigger various issues, such as the physical health and mental condition of a senior citizen. Furthermore, sending them “away” also limits their potential to become better individuals.
