Envoy America, a subscription-based ride service that began operating in Scottsdale, offers companionship for seniors and peace of mind for their children. Unlike ride sharing, Envoy America is a door-to-door that doesn’t require a smart phone app.

According to Rae Thompson, using the ride service gives her a sense of security. Although she doesn’t have many places that she needs to go to, she certainly feels that she can get there if she needs to. Another customer, Estelle Adatto, says that the service is more like a companion to her until everything is done.
