With winter season just a weeks away, people are turning to their heating systems for warmth and comfort. However, because of the increasing fire incidents all over the country, homeowners are encouraged to take precautions when heating their homes. Here are tips for safety home heating.
- Go for an electric heater that has a UL Mark.
- Keep your space heaters at least three feet away from your furniture or any combustible items.
- Use proper size extension cords when using your space heaters.
