Dealing with diabetes can be a struggle for many seniors, especially when they are conditioned to instantly change their lifestyle in order to cope with their condition. Although completely shifting to a healthier practices would be ideal, one must remember to take it one step at a time.
- Watch out for the signs and symptoms of low insulin levels (i.e. shaking, sweating, anxiety, etc.).
- Make dietary changes – find out which foods and how much intake are acceptable for your condition.
- Stay active and find an exercise routine that’s right for you
