Psychosocial Implications of Aging in Place

This CEU is designed to educate clinicians on the key aspects of mental health for older adults aging in place. Attendees will learn and apply mental health strategies in conjunction with home modification interventions to create better outcomes that improve the well-being of their patients. During this course, participants will learn best practices and explore case studies. This course will assist in developing the skills needed to identify potential barriers associated with home navigation and safety. Attendees will be exposed to intervention techniques to facilitate their patients’ well-being. This course included mental health resources in order to better inform patients and caregivers who are experiencing these mental health challenges. In order to receive a certificate, a survey must be completed.
