Spending More Time Watching TV May Increase Risk of Alzheimer

 

 

According to a study conducted by the Northern California Institute for Research and Education, spending too many hours in front of a TV screen might raise the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease. The researchers examined the relationship between sedentary lifestyles, cognitive performance and the risk of dementia.

The study was found to have important implications for children as well as young adults who like to sit in front of the television for hours. Knowing that this sedentary lifestyle comes with a risk, people must be motivated to make lifestyle changes as early as possible.
