Mother Concerned about Disabled Son’s Safety on the School Bus
A mom from East Texas has expressed deep concern about her disabled son’s safety on the Colmesneil ISD bus. Her 15-year-old disabled son is the first wheelchair bound student in the school district. The school bus has no air conditioner and her son is very sensitive to heat.
For two years, Lori Kibodeaux has been going to Colmesneil ISD administrators to raise the issues but “it’s almost like they don’t care”.
