Charity Golf Classic Proceeds Dedicated for the Benefit of Local Seniors

The proceeds from this year’s Charity Golf Classic will be dedicated to helping local senior citizens living independently in their homes by providing various home services such as meal deliveries, medical transportation and emergency assistance.

The event which will be hosted by Friends of Gwinnett County Senior Services is happening on June 17. Registration will begin at 8:00 am and the tournament formally starts at 10:00 am.
Gary Galloway, the resource and marketing coordinator for Gwinnett County Health and Human Services, says in a news release:
“The Friends Charity Golf Classic at TPC Sugarloaf is all about committing to raise money to support senior programs. Many of our players or volunteers, adult children themselves, are beginning to deal with issues with their own aging parents, relatives, or friends. We are thankful for the generous support from key sponsors, donors, and players. We are raising our commitment to uplift our seniors.”
